Summer Writing Camp

What:  A day camp for young writing enthusiasts.  Campers choose their own writing topics and genres, play writing games, make books, explore and write outdoors, and more. We will end the week with the ever-popular writing-in-a-coffee house field trip!

Who: Children entering 4^th, 5^th and 6^th grades in September, 2009

 Where: Coe Elementary on Queen Anne Hill

                         2424 7^th Ave W., Seattle, 98119

When:  9:00-1:00. M-F

                        July 20-24

                        July 27-31, 

 Cost: $160.00/session- partial scholarships available.

Other Fun Stuff, part 1

When time allows, I offer after-school writing groups for children. TOPS, Stevens Elementary, and Coe Elementary have all hosted my writing groups.

If you are interested in having me facilitate an after school writing group in your child’s school, please talk to me about it.

If you have a child who loves to write, would they like to have a Writer’s Party?

I will bring the notebooks (which kids keep), pencils and ideas. You provide the location and enthusiastic guests. Two hours recommended length. $120 or barter.
